Based on an interview with a teacher who worked at a kindergarten and lower school, we created this diagram to illustrate the timeline of emotional regulation skill development in children aged 3–7. This period is a sensitive time for children to develop several key skills, and we aim to remind parents and caregivers that such development is continuous. It is therefore crucial to remain attentive to your children’s needs and support the growth of these skills in everyday life.
